Can i use Lifelite 2xAAA battery box with brickstuff lights?
Hi all
I want to add lights to a Lego airplane with the airplane package and with some additional lighting inside. I would need two coin cell battery boxes for this, since the 3xAA is too big. LifeLites 2xAAA battery box is a perfect fit for the lego airplane, and the wireconnections fit, but the lights don't work. Any reason it shouldn't work? Do I need to get the coin cell battery box instead?

Hi there, and thank you for your question. My guess is that the 3v DC put out by the LifeLites battery pack (2x 1.5V AAA batteries) isn't enough to power the Brickstuff LEDs. The coin cell battery pack puts out 5V and you need at least 4.5v to get the lights working.
