Power Options

Hi,

I just bought a brick screen that will be going into a display of mine.  This display will be inside a WickedBricks box.  I have the work figured out for wiring and getting the wiring to all come out the bottom of the box...the question I have is, what kind of power sources do I need to look into for this.  I will essentially a cord that is 20" long to run it under my lego model and out the bottom of the box and then plugged in externally.  I don't see the power requirements anywhere (unless I am missing it) for me to try to find power source alternatives.  thanks!

  • Hi, thanks for your message.  We do list some power details and options in the instructions that are included with the screen.  Basically you just need a 5V power source capable of putting out at least 1A (1000mA) of power-- basically any iPad or tablet-type charger will do this.  If you have a spare charger like this, you can use that along with our USB cable to power the screen.  We also sell extension cables and adapters if you need to lengthen the wire run.  Please let me know if this helps answer your question, and thank you again!
