2-Channel Micro LEC with Flash?

You already have the 2-Channel Micro Lighting Effect Controller with Flickering Effect but I was wondering about one with Flash.  I would be able to use this in my crossing lights where each channel would be connected to one of the lights.  I currently use one of the Single Function LECs and 2 1:2 pico boards but having it all in one smaller board would be quite handy.  Also having one LEC per crossing light would simplify the wiring connections to just supplying power.

  • Hi Jim, thanks for the suggestion.  We could easily do this as a custom order.  Another option would be to put the effect on our 4-channel micro LEC (like the one used for the machine gun) and this would allow you to have two crossbucks (4 LEDs total) operating from one micro LEC and Pico LEDs directly connected.  Again, this would be easy to do.

  • Or... this could be a whole kit.  Here's the parts I used:

    • 2 4073 TrRed Plate 1 x 1 Round
    • 2 4740 Black Dish 2 x 2 Inverted (Radar)
    • 2 85861 White Plate 1 x 1 Round
    • 1 3957 Light Bluish Gray Antenna 1 x 4
    • 1 87087 Light Bluish Gray Brick Modified 1 x 1 with Stud on 1 Side
    • 1 60476 Light Bluish Gray Brick Modified 1 x 1 with Horizontal Clip
    • 1 3005 Light Bluish Gray Brick 1 x 1
    • 1 43888 Light Bluish Gray Support 1 x 1 x 6 Solid Pillar
      • Drill a hole through the Stud
    • 1 6190 Light Bluish Gray Bar 1 x 3 with 2 Stud Receptacles (Radio Handle Phone Handset)
      • Rare color
    • 1 87580 Light Bluish Gray Plate Modified 2 x 2 with Groove and 1 Stud in Center (Jumper)
      • Drill a hole through the Stud
    • 2 3070b White Tile 1 x 1
    • 1 63864 White Tile 1 x 3
    • 1 15397 White Plate 3 x 3 Cross

    The Lights would be:

    • 2 Pico LED Lights
    • 1 of the aforementioned Micro LEC with Flash boards

  • Jim Pirzyk Great idea for a kit.  Why not take it one step further and make the crossbucks completely automatic?  We could do this with two IR sensors under the track and one 4-channel LEC connected to the crossbuck LEDs.
