Help needed Lighting up my Star Wars Fleet

Hi guys, I am lighting up my fleet:

I will begin with the Medical Frigate.

I think I will need up to 40 cool white pico lights -  what do I need to buy to get them all up and running?

  • Hello Morten, and thank you for contacting us!  We've long admired your work on EB, so having you reach out to us is wonderful.  We've been working on several prototype ideas for lighting large Star Wars ships, and your fleet might be a great way to try them out.  The idea is to have small lights pre-mounted inside trans clear plates, which you could then mount along the outside of the ship and connect back to a central power/control source.  This would be a less expensive solution than needing to use 40 Pico LEDs and the associated adapters and cables.  We're currently working on a demo of this idea with the Super Star Destroyer.  If you're ok waiting a week or so, we could post photos here to get your feedback.

It would be amazing to see that fleet with engines and ships lit up-- imagine the flickering/pulsing engines!

Thank you again for contacting us.  We're very excited to work with you on this project.

  • Hi Rob, thank you for getting back! Trans clear plates with lights sound great! Can't wait to see your demo! However, I think I would still need them in quantity :)

    A few questions:

How big are the plates you use? I think I will need them as small as 1x1 and 1x2 and also a few tiles.

Is trans light blue a possibility?

Is there are way to put light inside trans dishes?

Thanks again, and feel free to write me a mail - I sent you a contact form earlier :)

    Best

    Morten
