I am starting to upgrade my National Mall with Brickstuff's BrickPixel Arduino setup.

Here are three videos showing the same setup but at different camera angles and ambient light settings.

This setup uses 3 mA LEDs  for the yellow Mall lights and a 1 mA LED for the kiosk interior light.  Have programmed the Brickstuff Arduino shield  to include:  1) a toggle on/off of the light in the food kiosk building, as if someone has swtched on, then off the inside lights, 2) the Mall lights fade on and off, and 3) one of the Mall lights flickers as it turns on.

Trying to give a more realistic approach to the lighting.

Still much work to be done, but you can see where this might be headed.

[I apologize for the poor quality of the video.  It was done with an iDevice, which doesn't handle low light conditions very well.]
