Great question! Here's a little secret we discovered, though Briksmax won't tell it to you. The connectors are fully compatible with our Pico connecting plugs (0.8mm plug pitch)-- they're also compatible with the "old" Briksmax plugs, again something they claim not to be. The advantage of the new Briksmax connectors is they can be inserted either way (polarity doesn't matter), which is nice, but they are proprietary plugs (made by Funwhole, another brick kit manufacturer and also possibly a holding company or associate of the people behind Briksmax). You can insert our Pico plugs into one of the new Briksmax connector boards, and then from there it's normal polarity and connectivity elsewhere throughout the Brickstuff system. As long as you have one of their new adapter boards to be the bridge, you're good to go. Our plugs fit into their sockets, though the fit is a bit looser than with their plugs, since our plugs are thinner and have pins on only one side. Since the Briksmax connectors are polarity-independent, however, you also get the benefit of being able to insert our plugs in either orientation as well!
Hopefully this helps-- let us know how it goes for you.

Rob Klingberg Thanks for the response. I had tried the insertion - and confirmed that the electrical connection worked when testing. But I had never pushed in hard because I did not know if it would really fit and didn't want to damage anything. It's loose - but when setting up something permanent - I can probably just use a small amount of tape or adhesive square to make sure it doesn't jiggle loose.
I had bought one of their kits as a starter set for parts and hadn't realized it would come with the new connectors, as I had other 0.8mm MOC components from LightMyBricks I planned on using it with. (And they have now moved to another completely incompatible connector format - so I won't be using their components any more.)
Thanks again for the confirmation.
