Keep us posted-- we have this set also but have not fully built it yet (just the ships). There's tons of potential, and I'm sure you will discover it as you have a great eye for lighting these models!

Freakmaster We should do something with a magnet switch so when Han is lowered into the chamber, the lights change color and blue lights flash at the bottom of the chamber. :-)

Freakmaster Not quite-- we haven't built our Cloud City set yet. If you're serious, I can look into it.

Rob Klingberg I do not think that it is necessary that the color of the light change, it would be enough if these lights are dimmed, while bright or blue light flashes from inside the chamber. The lights are currently mounted under a 2x2 plate in transparent orange, so you would not see the change in the light color. The installation of the magnet should be possible.

Freakmaster from a functionality standpoint it wouldn't be hard. i'll see if i can find time this week to build at least the chamber part-- looks like it's a mechanism where one part goes down (Han) and the other part comes up (frozen Han).

I am not sure if the effect will work. The paths of the two Han's cross in the middle and you do not have the effect that Han first is going down and then come up frozen back.

Freakmaster Shoot, then yeah it probably wouldn't work. Unless there was a way to separate the operation so there were two levers, or more of a separation between the two movements? Even without the LED effect, the dual-motion doesn't look realistic.

It was not as easy as I thought, so I made a little re-design of the champer. I think now we have what we need to install the effect馃槈 The video I send in my next post.

Rob Klingberg what do you think? Is this the mechanism you mean? of course I uses some different colors, because I don't have the correct ones at home. I will order the correct colors and will post the changes in the champer, if this is the mechanism you can work with.
