EMD SD70 ACE Heritage Unit

This was my first project with Rob. The Union Pacific locomotive is scaled 1:16  and the model consist of about 27.000 bricks, and was built in 4 months. It is about 143 cm in length (56,2 inch). It has functional lights including contour and working lights, cabin lights and special ditch lights that can be tuned on the pcb. It works with two battery boxes that are placed under the cabin area (where in real life batteries are as well). This way the lights can work on events when there is no electricity availlable.

The lights perform great. At Legoworld in Kopenhagen it was switched on for a total of 36 hours on 6 AA batteries. Worked fine!

Thanks for sharing, Dennis!  Can't wait to see this model in person in Utrecht later this year.

Indeed! I am convinced you will like it. Kjeld liked it, so nobody can dislike it anymore :-)

Those are those blinking front lights that blink on and off on each side when a train approaches a crossing.
