Hi Shawn, thanks for your post.  The good thing about the Falcon is that there's so much room inside, there really isn't any requirement to install the kit as you build.  Even after the kit is fully built, installing the kit is very easy.  The main task is routing the wires, which is easy due to the gaps between the Technic bricks inside the model and the spaces between the exterior panels.  We develop all of our kits so they can be installed after you've built your kit, and this is especially true with the Falcon.
