Cables for high powered leds

I have two high powered leds connected to a 3xAA power source and need to add a couple of light strips. What kind of adapter board/cable should I use?
I'm afraid of connecting two 1x2 adapter boards in a row because all of the cables that came with the kit are the very thin type, not the red/black ones that are used in the high power leds and power sources. Are the thicker red/black cables sold separately?

  • Thanks for asking your question!  The thinner cables are perfectly fine to use as extensions.  Do you have the two high-power LEDs connected using one "Y" adapter (BRANCH04 board), then straight into the 3AA battery pack?  If so, you could use one  "Y" adapter to connect to the battery, then use one thin black cable to connect to the second "Y" adapter, then plug your high-power LEDs into that.  Then use the other unused plug on the first "Y" adapter to connect to your light strips.  This setup should work well.  Let us know if this answers your question, or if there is anything else we can help with.
