Power Billboards via USB/not batteries?

Greetings!

I just purchased a billboard and "USB Power Cable for the Brickstuff LEGO® Lighting System" but the billboard power supply/animation driver and USB cable don't interface (which is fine bc I can use the USB cable in other applications).
Anyway... the billboard description states:

"The power supply can operate on either four AAA batteries (not included), or a connecting cable is also included that works with the standard Brickstuff power supplies."

Specifically, what is the power supply or connector/adaptor I can link to the driver instead of having it run on batteries?  I prefer a "permanent" usb/wired connection, which seems possible.  If so, a link to the exact product would be great!

Beautiful work on the billboard, btw!

Many thanks!

  • Hi MV, thanks for your message-- I'm glad you like the billboards!  Yes, you are correct-- the part you are missing is this one:

    https://www.brickstuff.com/store/p12/Brickstuff_1%3A2_Expansion_Adapter_%284-Pack%29_for_Lighting_LEGO%C2%AE_Models.html

This is a pack of 4, which is 3 more than you need.  We'd be happy to send you one for the cost of shipping if that works for you.  I'll send you a PayPal invoice-- you don't need a PayPal account to pay.

    Rob Klingberg Hi Rob,

This is wonderful!  Yes, please send just the one - I received the shipping invoice and just paid.

You and your team (and of course products) are the best -- thanks for the quick response and generous help!

    Cheers!
